PEOPLE WHO USE CAPS IN EMAIL:
ARE YOU ANGRY?!
EXCITED?!
TRYING TO BE EMPHATIC?!
Sometimes, people can’t tell. So, remember folks: be careful with the caps usage in writing. People might end up taking it the wrong way.

I know exactly what you mean. I really hate caps. I don’t know why. I always feel like people are yelling at me or something. Maybe I’m just too damn sensitive 🙂 lol….
See that’s what I thought too. Awhile back someone had written a response to a “status” I had written on FB, and it was in all caps. I at first thought for sure it was a mean, sarcastic comment. Then I thought, “no, so-and-so wouldn’t do that. I must be too sensitive again.” But I was still hurt. Low and behold it was meant to be nasty and they later deleted the comment and posted something about never texting and drinking at the same time. I thought I had better write a post (I waited weeks to post it) about how people should remember that caps should be paired with smiley faces to be clear that they are upbeat excitement caps, not nasty, mean caps! 🙂
